Hundreds marched to the Umm al-Fahm police station waving flags and shouting rhythmic chants on Friday, February 19, for the sixth week in a row, to protest the incompetence of the far-right government and the police in addressing the violence in the Israel’s Arab sector in general and in Umm al-Fahm in particular, Zo Haderech reported. “The prime minister continues to scatter empty promises and lies while we continue to count more and more victims,” Hadash MK Yousef Jabareen (Joint List) told those gathered. “We will continue to come out and fight for our basic right of personal security.” Hundreds marched to the police station in the city of Umm al-Fahm, Friday, February 19, to protest police and government inaction in the fight against organized crime in the Arab community.
