Israeli occupation forces cracked down late Friday morning, February 12, on a Palestinian-Israeli olive tree planting event that was to take place east of the villager of Burin, south of the West Bank city of Nablus, sponsored by the Israel-based Rabbis for Human Rights (RHR) organization, Zo Haderech reported. Bashar Eid, a resident of Burin, said that Israeli troops cordoned the area off from the early morning hours, blocking all roads and closing the area to protesters based on an out-of-date military order, and dispersed them with stun grenades and bodily force. No injuries were reported.
