“Facebook” banned the official page of the Lebanese Communist Party yesterday under the pretext of violation of its “community standards”, claiming that the posts and news published by the page supports terror and encourages killing. In this regard, the media office of the Lebanese Communist Party asserts that this decision comes because of the bias of Facebook to the Zionist agenda which acts to silence all voices of opposition and classifies resistance movements and the Palestinian uprising against occupation as terroristic. The real charges against the page of the Lebanese Communist Party are raised because it names killing as killing, occupation as occupation, massacres as massacres, and transfer as transfer in the same manner as it names thieves as thieves, oppressors as oppressors, and terrorists as terrorists.
