One more year we celebrate such a special and important day for revolutionaries all over the world. It is 68 years since a group of enthusiastic revolutionaries led by a young Fidel Castro Ruz stormed the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba on 26th July 1953. The Batista dictatorship, a loyal lackey of the United States, condemned the revolutionaries who were acquitted by history on 1st January 1959. We arrive at this important day in a context of worsening harassment of Cuba by imperialism. Cuba is living a historic moment where it needs the solidarity of all the revolutionaries of the world, just as we revolutionaries need the example of solidarity and dignity of the people of Cuba and its revolution.
