DPR Official Website

On September 11, two explosions occurred in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk at 9 Neftyanaya Street in the area where an operating oil depot is located.   The first explosion took place at 7:30 a.m. at the distance of 50 metres from the fuel and lubricant storage tank, and the second one occurred at 12:30 p.m. on the roof of the tank. In the course of operational activities it has been established that these subversive actions had been caused by an attack with two UAVs, as evidenced by the fragments of unmanned devices found at the explosions site: an engine, charred fuselage parts and wings. Employees of the Emergency Situations Ministry, the Internal Affairs Ministry and the DPR Representative Office to the JCCC led by the office’s head, worked at the scene to contain the fire, register the aftermath and investigate the circumstances of the armed sabotage by the AFU. Further operational measures are being taken in this case. No casualties among the population were reported.  The post Two explosions hit an oil depot in Donetsk first appeared on DPR Official site.
