On 13 October, as agreed with the Ukrainian party to the JCCC, employees of the Lugansk AVTODOR enterprise were carrying out road clearing works near the Pervomaysk-Zolotoye checkpoint. According to the press office of the LPR People’s Militia, at that time, a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the 24th brigade committed an armed attack with small arms and captured one of the LPR Mission to the JCCC monitors responsible for overseeing compliance with the ceasefire regime. It is worth noting that all the officers of the LPR Mission to the JCCC do not carry weapons, and this was used by the AFU militants to their advantage. Thus, the Ukrainian forces, despite the security guarantees provided by the Ukrainian Mission to the JCCC, have grossly violated the Minsk agreements. “We cannot rule out that this action had been orchestrated by the command of the 24th brigade taking into account the forthcoming visit of Ukrainian President Zelensky to the Joint Operation Zone in order to gain favour and receive a reward from the Head of State. We urge international monitoring and human rights organizations to take a closer look at the criminal actions of the Ukrainian side and press the Ukrainian armed formations to comply with their commitments under the Minsk agreements,” the statement says. The post An LPR SMM to JCCC monitor has been captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces first appeared on DPR Official site.
