A strike by the Road Transport Union in Lebanon

At the invitation of the Land Transport Federation in Lebanon and the support of the General Labor Union, thousands of drivers carried out a day of anger across all Lebanese regions. Where the regions were cut off by the closure of the main roads inside the capital, Beirut, and all governorates with tankers, trucks, and large and small taxis, in protest against the government’s failure to implement the prior agreement with the labor union, threatening to take more escalating steps if the crisis was not addressed and their demands were met. The participants in the protests demanded that the state act quickly to find solutions to the crisis that the citizens cannot stand anymore.
