Reconsidering and strengthening social dialogue is ideal

The Secretary-General of the Trade Union Coalition stated this morning in a media interview that he doubts the success of the work of the committee proposed by the Palestinian Minister of Labor in his speech before the International Labor Conference in Geneva a few days ago. Considering that the parties that would carry out this task already have all this information and will not play their role in carrying out such a task previously. Therefore, this proposed committee will not be able to fulfill the desired purpose, valuing the role of the Ministry of Labor.

Regarding the elimination of the phenomenon of permit brokers, Secretary-General Muhammad al-Arqawi considered that the best solution for this phenomenon and for the committee proposed by the Minister of Labor is to reconsider the mechanisms of social dialogue in Palestine first, and then deal with the competent authorities in each of these aspects, especially the security services in alleviating the Permit brokers phenomenon.
