A delegation of leaders of the Central Nacional de Trabajadores dePanamá (CNTP) is leading a large march called by the Alianza Pueblo Unido por la Vida (People United for Life Alliance), which brings together the most militant union and popular organizations in the country, in a single front of struggle.
The demonstrations began the protest in the area of the National Assembly of Parliament Members to demand real answers from the Central Government for the benefit of the population affected by the high cost of living, demanding lower fuel prices, affordable medicines, and other demands of social interest.
