Militant, class-oriented activities took place all over the world on September the 1st, the International Action Day of Trade Unions for Peace established by the WFTU on the occasion of the anniversary of the Second World War beginning.
The WFTU affiliates and friends realized Actions in all regions, intensifying the struggle for peace, reiterating the demand for an immediate stop to imperialist wars, interventions, embargos, and sanctions and the dissolution of NATO and dismantling of nuclear weapons.
