Dear colleagues, On the occasion of the completion of 54 years from the assassination of the great Argentine revolutionist leader Ernesto “Che” Guevara, on October 9, 1967 in Bolivia, the WFTU invites you to an International Symposium on the topic: The message of the life and struggle of Che Guevara that will take place: On Saturday 9 October 2021, at 17.00pm Greek time, through ZOOM The World Federation of Trade Unions, its members and friends all over the world, we honor the great militant Che, who contributed decisively through the armed struggle in the success of the Cuban revolution and in the construction of the socialist Cuban state. Through his life and struggle, through his internationalist action, we want to draw conclusions about the present and future struggles, about how they should be in order to serve the interests of the working class and the Peoples. In the current conditions of the new financial capitalist crisis, downgrade of public health, deterioration of the working and living conditions of workers, sharpening of the imperialist antagonisms, the quote of Che: “Above all, always be capable of feeling deeply any injustice committed against anyone, anywhere in the world. This is the most beautiful quality of a revolutionary” as well as his overall action light up the course of struggle, solidarity and proletarian internationalism.
