For almost two and a half years the SUTNOTIMEX union has been mobilising to defend its collective bargaining contracts and union organisation, with no income in the midst of the greatest pandemic. Facing continuous harassment and physical, media and virtual aggressions by the management; an employer that at all times has manifested its lack of not only dialogue but also respect for the law and labour rights. The Ministry of the Interior with its attitude ignores a legal and recognised strike and, contrary to the labour policy of the country, covers up the illegalities committed by the management, which continues to squander the public budget of Notimex.
The World Federation of Trade Unions sends a message of solidarity to the workers of NOTIMEX in Mexico and calls on class unions to support the just struggle of the workers.
