Black Friday: Workers in Commerce and Delivery Strike in many countries

PAME expresses its solidarity with the workers of many countries, all over the world, who respond to the exploitation and work to exhaustion imposed by business groups on the occasion of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales days.

In Greece, commerce workers are going on strike on Sunday 27 November against the employers’ attempt to turn the sales days into 4 days of extermination for workers.

In many countries all over the world, especially in the e-commerce group of the multinational AMAZON in the USA, Germany, Spain, Britain etc., workers are going on strike in response to plans for thousands of layoffs, exhausting hours, low wages, miserable working conditions. It is proven that workers have nothing to gain from the logic of waiting, inaction and fear of the employers.

Instead, with collective, organised action, with the power of solidarity, workers can turn Black Fridays into days of hope and fight!
